What's everybody doing?

What am I doing?  Trying to stay off the phone long enough to do more work.   

I do think I'm on to something else super nice that no one else is doing once again but that's the norm at the Stables lol...  

 

Trying to get the topic title changed back the way it was...  

OK I got it now.  

I had to make another topic called Nappy's tractor just for him.  I moved a post he made in the 1998 tractor section that didn't belong there to here and it changed the subject.  I think I can move it back here Nappy and keep this subject right or I can leave you with your own topic.  Let me know.

I'll leave it.  Now you have your own personal place where you can put your stuff.  

A new fridge was delivered for the house today so hopefully I can get my daily routine back on.  I put the old one on CL today for free so hopefully someone will come get it out of my way. It's a Stainless steel Kenmore Elite that's not cooling, and I don't feel like messing with it.  It still looks new but after going on 20 years it may be one thing after another so it's going away.

The new waiting area ceiling is done and edges are all caulked up, looks pretty awesome.  The only thing left is painting the rails and that will be much later.  Tomorrow morning the floor is getting cleaned and the articulating 525H is going up front.  After that it's time for the Kohler engine in the blaster experiment. 

I'll get some pics up of all of that tomorrow.   

The 525H is up front and there was plenty of room to get it up there.  Finally peeps can see it when they come in instead of it being in the back covered up all the time.  

There's also still plenty of room up there for another one I think.  I may restore the 500 special in the back when I get time, whenever that is...  

The blaster is moved and Carson's new engine was blasted today, worked like a charm.  There are more pics of it in his restoration post.  The 525H being out of the back also freed up a lot of space in the back.  I still have to do a little better job of running stuff to the blaster but I really wanted to do Carson's engine today.  I may even move things back there around a little more after I look at it for awhile.    

 

Doing lots of things at once it seems as usual...  

Not sure why but some of the fluids I use keep going on sale at better than ever in the past 10+ years prices.  They've been going on sale every month or so for awhile now.  It doesn't make sense with oil and gas being so high but when it goes on sale I usually buy 4-6 more gallons of it.  What I put up the other day was 2 orders from the past few months  Maybe they're just trying to make something instead of nothing, or their warehouse is overstocked.  It won't ever be that cheap again so I can't resist...  I need to stop soon though because it's filling up it's spot.  

Did some tree trimming over a month ago and it was all finally picked up last week so I could mow.  Then I finally got my 2nd mowing done for this year.  It was over the front axle on the zero turn.  What usually takes about an hour took 2-1/2 hours...  

I also got to eat out for the first time in several weeks.  Only McDonalds but I went inside and they gave me all the receipts again sitting at the register as they usually do.   8 more BOGO free, so 8 more free sandwiches for me lol.  

There were two nice frames sitting on a trailer sitting outside given to me last Winter that were all 3/16" steel so I took a minute early one day to cut them all up and put them in the metal racks.  Lots of nice 4' + 5' pieces like new with just a little surface rust here and there.

As of last Sat the blaster is down until this Thursday or so.  I had to order a part for it that will be here by then.  I'll be caught up on Carson's C-121 assy before then so I'm gonna go ahead and do the trolley setup to put motors and transmissions in it while it's down.  I have something figured out for it so I'll put a post on it in the Tool Section later.  

 

Part for the blaster didn't show today, now they say tomorrow.  Can't depend on anyone anymore...  

Did some work on Carson's this morning, his post was just updated.  Since I was caught up on his and the blaster is out waiting for it's part I went on and got a lot of the home made trolley system done today.  I'll prob finish it up tomorrow.  It's still not done and I still need to make a post on it in the Tool Section but here's an idea of how it will work.
