I restored a 753 for Jeremy almost 2 years ago and he also bought one of the Wheel Horse trucks I had. His family had a Wheel Horse dealership for about 40 years. The 753 restore is here - Jeremy's 753 Restore He's starting on the truck and brought me the engine a few weeks ago. He wanted it really nice and said to start with getting the exhaust pipe out. Well, it's out but at some point someone replaced the nipple in the block I think and it was only in 2 threads. It broke out of the block but only lost about 1/2 of a thread. I could make it work except the heat from the exhaust ate up all the other threads in the block making it unusable.

He's up to any kind of Wheel Horse Kohler engine as long as it's a big block so I need to get another engine out around here to do for him. I need to figure out what I can make the coolest thing that would look really good on the truck. I figured I'd start a topic on it for peeps to follow along even though he's not in a hurry and I'm also super busy right now with a lot of other work.

I'm doing some work on it and he's doing some as well. He also mentioned bringing the rearend down and getting it redone here so this topic may go on for awhile.
