I'm not sure how long this one will take, depends on my mood I guess lol. I've been thinking about this one while finishing up the 520H this week and decided to beef her up a little. :happy1
For starters, 520-8's did not come with gear reduction steering. I've already added it and am thinking about milling the front end for the flat needle bearings as well.
I have a posi rearend sitting on a dolly that I thought I would use someday for something, I guess now is as good a time as any. I'm getting ready to clean it up and put it in today. I'll keep everyone updated as she comes along.

I was pulling the pulleys and hubs to replace the seals on the posi trans and ran into a snag. The input and brake pulleys came of by hand, and the right hub came off with very little hammer tapping. The left axle was another story. It took so much torque it messed up the 3/4-16 fine threaded 8 grade bolt + nut on my fancy puller lol. While doing a little hammering I then proceeded to pop the snap ring off of the right side inside the differential. :angry 
I thought you guys would like to see exactly what's inside the Wheel Horse 10 pinion posi rearend while I happen to have it apart...

Well I'm back where I was last night, with the trans mounted... The only difference is the hubs are off, it's painted and ready for seals this time.

I've been thinking about Mark's (23LSEAUTOMATIC) D series build he's doing this morning. I started to fall into that but I'm gonna try to stop it lol. I really realized it when I resurfaced the brake pulley and reached for a new gold colored grade 9 bolt for it. :rolling
