I've been wanting to make one of these for a long time and there was a tiller here getting worked on so it was a good time to do it. 

It was pretty simple, it started with a wide 1-1/4" 2"OD collar so there was room to work with.  Collar and seal specs are below.  The link of where it came from is here - Collar

ID was already perfect, just had to cut down one end for the first seal recess.  The collar gets flipped for the outer seal and needs no modifications.  The specs on the cut are a 0.140 (a little over 1/8") back set, and 1.850 diameter.  I used a piece of 1-1/2 exhaust pipe for the driver, mainly because there's plenty of it around.  I have plans to find something that is closer to the 1-14" shaft later so it's a better fit.
