I'm sure a heat shield will show up eventually, in the mean time I'm gonna start putting the old girl back together. Here's a pic of the foot rest you hooked me up with Geno (thanks again) beside the one I had. Wonder why they came up with the different variations? Not that it makes any difference, they are physically the same size.

I believe that Joe Papke used to have Heat Shields available, he has a lot of the early parts and many repro-parts he has had made to sell - and up to high identical quality, and he really knows his stuff on these early WH tractors, huge yard and inventory: (White Pigen, MI) horsedr2004@yahoo.com .

Also, Robert 'Duke' Davis (has a beautiful restored collection) may know of remanufactured Heat Shields: bob@wolverine-synthetics.com (Niles, MI)

Thanks Glen. Joe is who I got the belt guard from so I'll email him and see if he has a line on a heat shield!
