I couldn't help myself but share a few pics of the "C-165" I picked up last spring, bought it for the 42RD deck, not the tractor! You can see that one of the PO's had a JD fetish. Don't know where the glued-on carpet on the floorboard idea came from but I'll have to remember that one. Then there's the engine.... It was all painted solid gray including the badges. A little brake fluid, some rubbing and.... Viola!!!.. It's a K321!!! Spec 60221, not a :horse spec proven by the use of j-bolts for right hand engine mounts. Here's the kicker, for as pitiful as this thing looks, the engine and Eaton 1100 are solid as a rock. If there's ever an ugliest :horse contest I think I may have a winner....
