Just parted my first one.

Somebody play taps.


Been cleaning up some of the outside mess and the Commando 8 \ trailer had to get taken apart. It had no motor, hood or front end anyway and just couldn't see saving that one. I know of some people that can use the drive also to save theirs.

Yep, that's the main reason it got parted, not good for a hard worker.

If it wasn't for the poor parts tractor a lot of salvageable tractors would never run again. I hate to see it but it's a fact of this old iron hobby.

I'm not up on which ones were V shaft AJ, I just know they will always be parted, not enough of a tractor for what we're doing and not enough part availability. This one came with 30 of them is the only reason it's even here...

Ok so I was looking at the picture again and it appears that there is an air filter sitting on the top of the trans. At first glance I thought it was a pulley for a V-shaft engine. I was way wrong!

The Commando 8 had a H-shaft engine I believe. However I do believe it also came with a V-shaft at some point.
