The Krylon satin black is an exact match and sheen to the magnum engines, and 3-500 series front black on the hood look. It cleans easily also.

Thanks Geno. It might not look like it in the pics but I think it REALLY close to the original red.

Bring her over. I'm starting to like painting. I haven't liked painting before, but I've never used a paint gun, and I like it. Just clean up the grease, thats the worst part.

I was wondering about paint on the engine....did you use a hi heat paint?
The last time I pressure washed my kohler I can see what looks like yellow under the black paint would that be primer?

Ya I used 500 degree paint on the engine. I got all the paint from O'Reillys
